Release what isn’t you, relax into your natural self.
Through movement-based shadow work, we dissolve the inherited myths and unfelt emotions that keep you from feeling fulfilled and moving freely in the world.
Release the emotional knots holding you up, and your creativity, functionality, and love flow naturally.
Surrender old ideas about who you are, and you feel your fundamental wholeness.
This wholeness reorganizes your world in ways that are spiritually full and materially practical.
How it works
Our way through this process is tailored specifically to you — what you want, where you’re at in relation to it, the textures and talents of your specific psyche, and the life events that give us material to work with.
The process is intuitive and multimodal, but we always grab this primary set of tools:
-
For any inner work to work, you must learn to allow your emotions to process.
When we are present with our emotions as sensations in our bodies, their energies move like waves:
You feel them rolling in and notice their textures, they pitch up and get more intense until they peak and begin to crash.
If the feeling is sadness, for instance, this is the point you might start crying. After a little tumult — always less than you expect, could be a minute or two — the feeling finishes and dissolves leaving a spacious, relaxed feeling.
Through this process we dissolve the emotional linchpins that hold in place the behavior patterns, beliefs, and identities causing your suffering.
Though this process is natural, it is, for whatever reason, not intuitive to most of us. We don’t want to feel the discomfort of our emotions, and so we employ myriad strategies to avoid feeling them.
When we aren’t dissociated from or repressing our emotions, we feel them as sensations in our bodies (which are, in many ways, our unconscious minds). So, if you’re avoiding your emotions, you likely feel stuck in your head.
Anxiety, indecision, judgement, dissociation, denial, addiction, people-pleasing, apathy, superiority, and inferiority — all ways of avoiding emotions that give way to huge expansions of perspective, beauty, connection, and relaxation if we allow them to be felt.
When we resort to these poor substitutes for peace and power, we block our own access to real security, self-esteem, and love.
-
We use movement as a diagnostic tool to directly perceive and make conscious the ways you are showing up in relationship to yourself, your work, your friendships, your partnerships.
Though our words and conscious beliefs can mask our unconscious feelings and intentions (keeping them secret even from ourselves!), these energies and thought processes unavoidably radiate from your movements.
And thank god, because this allows us to touch and move material that is otherwise out of conscious reach. Often this is the stuff that is holding you back from the things you want — whether thats a rich and vivid life, expression, achievements, or a durable love of self.
So we record video of you moving through the archetypal energies that structure your life — things like giving/receiving, yes/no, earning/spending, intimacy/independence — and process any emotional pains restricting the accuracy and vibrancy of your movements.
Through receiving feedback on your movements and finding novel ways to show up energetically, you expand your range of movement in life.

So much of our sense of our own lovability, worth, and safety is inherited through our parents and caretakers.
These emotional patterns/family mythologies run through our literal bodies — we are made from them, after all — as well as the way our parents treat us and themselves. Like our parents before us, and so on.
These imprints of our histories profoundly shape the way we perceive and respond to the world. Though they were created by historical events, at this point it is not that history, but the imprint of that history that is reproducing itself in the material of your life.
We locate the imprints of being unlovable, unworthy, etc. you received from your lineage. Using somatic meditations, we reshape these imprints as if they came from parents who got everything they needed and could give you the same.
Often we’ll go back generations to fully develop this multidimensional love and security that has such a global influence on your access to calm, intimacy, and the willingness to be seen.
This is the practice we do with some of the fastest tangible relief in terms of self-confidence and results like more supportive friendships, surprisingly transformed family relationships, and sometimes even the quick connection to new romantic partners. Its remarkable how much peace and connection is gained here.

Your lifemaps are self-fullfilling fictions. Here we lay the tracks to the future you want to live, from the moment you map until the day you die.
Like a map, it is, in itself, descriptive rather than productive. Based on its layout, we see where and how to reshape the terrain of your psyche so it is likely to generate your intentions.
The process is messy, creative, surprising, and never fully under your control. However, control is not necessary for the maps to bear very worthy fruit.
Creating the map(s) begins as a means to encounter your relationship to wanting and possibility.
We map the life you want (short, mid, and long-term) and confront any limitations born of doubt, fantasy, indecision, fear of failure, felt impotence.
Then, we use movement work to embody the psycho-emotional attitudes and ways of being in the world that are likely to create those futures.
As your old identity structures and avoidances fall away, you free up the energy previously used to maintain that suffering. As we free that energy, your mapped intentions become the channels through which that freed energy feeds your intended future.
Let’s work together
Book an intro and we'll lay out where you are, what you want, and whether working together is the efficient way to get there.
If yes, I'll walk you through how this work will clear the road to your intention.
